The KAS Scholarship is aimed at international students who wish to begin a degree program (Bachelor’s degree, ย Master’s degree, ย doctorate degree and research stay of not less than four semesters at a German university.
International candidates admitted for PHD will receive a stipend amount of โฌ1,400. While the Bachelor’s, Master’s or postgraduate students ย will receive a monthly stipend of โฌ992.

- No age limit for applicants.
- Applicants should have excellent academic performance.
- Good German language skill is required (B2 level).
- Submit an online application on the KAS Portal.
- Submit Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Submit letter of motivation.
- Submit copies of your academic transcripts from your home university.
- Submit copies of previous degree certificates (Include German translations if not available in English).
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a university professor not older than two months.
- Submit letter of acceptance or certificate of enrollment to a German university.
- For doctoral ย applicants: Submit a written German or English proposal comprising of 5 – 10 pages max, a letter of recommendation from your doctoral supervisor .

The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung scholarship awards a monthly stipend of โฌ992 for Bachelor’s, Master’s or postgraduate students and ย PHD students will receive an amount of โฌ1,400.

KAS Scholarship Requirements
- Submit an online application (including your professional background, personal background, your career goals) on the KAS Portal.
