The Teaching Assistant Program in France 2026/2027 is open to international candidates from partner countries. Successful applicants will gain 7 months international work experience to teach their native language in France.
The Teaching Assistant program is managed by the Frence Education international, providing candidates with an opportunity to work in France, explore the French culture and gain international experience.

Teaching Assistant Program in France Eligibility Criteria 2026/2027
Each country has its own unique criteria but the the general criteria to be eligible for the Teaching Assistant Program in France is as follows:
- Applicants should be a native language speaker of a language they want to teach in France. (Arabic, Chinese, Czech, Dutch, English, Hebrew, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish or Turkish.
- Must have completed secondary school education from home country.
- Applicants must be between 20 – 35 years old by the time of application.
- Applicants must be presently enrolled in a university by the time of submitting application. Check your country and partner institution conditions for status other than Student.
- Applicants must have completed at least 2 years of higher education at the time of submitting application.
- Applicants must have a minimum of B1 in French language proficiency.
Teaching Assistant Program in France Required Documents
The documents required to be submitted for the teaching assistant program in France includes:
- International Passport.
- French Language proficiency document (Delf/Dalf B1 level and above).
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Cover Letter.
- High school results.
- Bsc certificate and transcript.

Tapif Application Deadline
Nigeria (ALVE) Opens from 15th January, 2026 – 14th February, 2026.
For US applicants, applications opened Nov 3, 2025 and closed March 15, 2026.
Generally, applicants with complete application will receive notification to confirm the next step form 31st March, 2025. Applicants who do not receive any notification means they do not have a complete application.
What is the age limit for Tapif?
The age limit for Tapif applicants should be between 20 – 35 years old by the time of application. However it is necessary to check the age requirement of your country as some countries may have specific age limit.
